WALK AS A CHILD OF LIGHT

Come, my children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Who is the man who desires life
and loves many days that he may see good?
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile.
Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and His ears are attentive to their cry.
(Psalm 34:11–15)

I was once darkness, but now I am light in the Lord.
I will walk as a child of light
(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and
righteousness and truth),
learning what is pleasing to the Lord.
(Ephesians 5:8–10)

Lord, as a child of the light I will, by Your grace, walk in the light of Your presence and love. I want to live in the fear of the Lord, to guard my speech, and to make choices that are pleasing and honoring to You, so that I will bear the enduring fruit of goodness and righteousness and truth. Amen.
