GROW IN THE FEAR OF GOD
The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,
and to depart from evil is understanding.
(Job 28:28)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all who practice His commandments have a good
understanding. His praise endures forever.
(Psalm 111:10)
Lord God, I ask that I would learn to live more fully in the awe and fear of Your holy name. May this be the foundation and wellspring of true wisdom in my life. I want to cling to Your truth and gladly obey Your commandments so that I will grow in wisdom and understanding. Amen.
