PREPARE YOUR MIND FOR ACTION
Since I belong to the day, I will be self-controlled,
putting on the breastplate of faith and love,
and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
(1 Thessalonians 5:8)
I will prepare my mind for action and be self-controlled,
setting my hope fully on the grace to be brought to me
at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
(1 Peter 1:13)
Lord, I want to prepare my mind for action and be self-controlled, so that my life will be marked by faith, hope, and love. I set my hope completely on the grace that will be fully manifested at the appearance of Jesus Christ. Since I have faith in all that You have done and hope for what You will do, I can walk in Your love today. Amen.
