LOVE AND HOLD FAST TO GOD
I want to love the Lord my God, obey His voice,
and hold fast to Him.
For the Lord is my life and the length of my days.
(Deuteronomy 30:20)
I love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.
He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my
stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies.
(Psalm 18:1–3)
Lord God, my prayer is to love You, to obey Your voice, and to hold fast to You as my very life. You are my rock and my fortress and deliverer, and I take refuge in the stronghold of Your salvation. You alone are worthy of all praise, and I call upon Your holy name. Amen.
