From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 177

TRUST UNRESERVEDLY IN GOD

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.
My heart greatly rejoices,
and I will give thanks to Him in song.
(Psalm 28:7)

I will not let my heart be troubled.
I will trust in God and trust also in Christ.
(John 14:1)

Lord, during the trials of this life, I will trust wholly in You and in Your Son Jesus Christ. As I do this, I will move from anxiety to peace, and from resentment to gratitude. My heart will greatly rejoice, and I will joyfully give thanks to You, for You are my strength and my shield. Amen.
