From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 60

Lord, I praise you because …

You have bestowed Your grace upon us.

God chose me in Christ before the foundation of the world
to be holy and blameless in His sight.
In love He predestined me to be adopted as His son
through Jesus Christ,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
to the praise of the glory of His grace,
which He bestowed upon me in the One He loves.
(Ephesians 1:4–6)

Father, I give thanks that in Your great love You chose me even before the foundation of the world to be Your adopted child through Your Son Jesus Christ. This was according to the good pleasure of Your will and to the praise of the glory of Your grace which You bestowed upon me in Him. I rejoice that I have been embraced by Your love. Amen.
